Our Last Tape, Krapp's Last Tape

Krapp's Last Tape is a play by Samuel Beckett. Krapp listens to a tape of his past self, who has just listened to a tape of his past self, and records a further tape for his future self. As the Krapp on the stage is old and worn, the most direct meaning in "Last" is ending -- finalizing a life. But that is the least meaning. Krapp's tapes are a linked chain of influence and interaction between times past, present, and future, and his "last" is but the latest fixed link of that entwining existence.

Our Last Tape is a blog about the future, technology, and society. It will draw on the "tapes" we have made as part of this three part dialog, such as Star Trek, as well as general reminiscing and thoughts. If I am lucky, there will even be some analysis and foresight.
